Course Descriptions

Liturgics I:
Students will learn the basics of how the worship services of the Orthodox Church are structured and carried out, beginning with the Divine Liturgy, Vespers, and Matins (Orthros).

Liturgics II:
Continuation of the Liturgical Order: Students will learn the basic structure, content, and theology of the liturgical services of the Triodion, Great Lent, and Holy Week.

Liturgics III:
Structure, history, and meaning of the Sacraments of the Orthodox Church.
